Privacy

What we store, why, and how to get rid of it.

Your kitchen

The ingredients you add are stored against a random token in a cookie, or
against your account if you have one. That is what makes the site work. You can
empty your kitchen at any time from the My kitchen page, which deletes the
lot.

Dietary requirements

If you set dietary requirements on your account, they are stored on your account
and used to filter what you see. They are health data. They are not shared, not
sold, and not used to target advertising to you as a person. An advert can be
targeted at a search for gluten free recipes; it is never targeted at you.

Advertising measurement

We count impressions and clicks as a daily total per placement. Those totals
contain nothing that identifies a visitor. If an ad network is enabled it will
set its own cookies, which is a separate matter and covered by the consent
banner your deployment configures.

Getting it all deleted

Delete your account and everything goes with it: your kitchen, your saved
recipes, your meal plans and your newsletter subscription. Email the address on
the About page if you would rather we did it for you.
